Important Update: Fort Mac Fitness & Sports Center (Bldg. 425)

Starting Monday, April 20, the Fort MacArthur Fitness Center will implement temporary extended manned-hours. This schedule will remain in effect until the fire alarm system and/or the 24-hour access program is fully operational. This temporary schedule is designed to support mission readiness while the facility completes necessary fire alarm upgrades.

TEMPORARY MANNED HOURS

  • Monday-Thursday: 0500-2000
  • Friday: 0500-1300
  • Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Due to an irreparable failure of the fire alarm panel, the Fort Mac Fitness & Sports Center is currently operating under Fire Watch conditions.

For the safety of our community, 24/7 access has been suspended effective March 24, 2026.

Manned hours remain unchanged, and the facility will continue to operate during normal staffed hours.

At this time, there is no estimated timeline for when repairs will be completed, and 24/7 access can resume. We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this issue and prioritize safety.
