PFL/HPA/TSAC Training

In support of SPFMAN 36-2905 guidance, Mr. John Hofman and Dr. Timothy Lim will conduct the required training and certification for Physical Fitness Leaders (PFL) and Health Promotion Advisors (HPA). Built on scientific principles and evidence-based research, the PFL / TSAC course is designed to reduce injuries and improve the overall performance and readiness of military personnel.
This class includes both lecture and hands-on instruction, with a focus on fundamental movement patterns and energy systems to enhance training effectiveness and operational performance. CPR and First Aid are included in this training.
About PFL/HPA/TSAC Training
All three fall under the Air Forceโs shift from โjust pass the PT testโ toward holistic, mission-ready human performance. The goal is fewer injuries, higher readiness, and better performance in real operational tasks—not just running fast on a track.
